Finally getting a table

It is a rude awakening, isn't it?

I play with a HIGH fargo friend and spot him 24-22.

He doesn't like that bit one shit!
I will say this. I would expect an over 700 Fargo who took up billiards to be well above a .3 after 2 years of reasonably frequent play and practice. I would expect .6-.8 somewhere. The pool player I mentioned above was probably around a .5 and I don’t know how often he played.

I can't disagree completely.

With help and a lot of play, there's a lot of improvement to be had.

I will finally be getting a 10’ table very soon. I am about a 0.3 average player, and I want to get to 1.0 average. I am motivated. I have a good stroke, and I can aim balls well.

If you were my coach what drills and practice would you have me do?

Thanks!!

Yes I will definitely reach out to you once I set up the table. I just finished moving and the garage is full of stuff, so in a few months I’ll be ready for setup.

Finally…

you got it heated ? how it plays? What cloth did you get?
Looks good!
I am not going to heat it. I will just clean it regularly to keep it somewhat fast. I have a humidifier for the garage. 9’ table, Siminos 300, brand new Klematch rails. It was extremely humid Friday (75% outside) and the balls didn’t jump, so I’m satisfied for a garage table. It gets slow after an hour and a half because of dirty balls, and after two days with Masters chalk. Vacuuming and cleaning balls restores it back to normal. Switching to Taom.

It’s challenging enough for me at this point in time so this should last me quite a while. I already have a good stroke so I think I will learn quickly.

did you use professional table mechanic? does the table have heating on it, but you just don´t use it? i am just curious. If it does not they heating is easy to install DIY.
Also if you want to get some games where to get better learning choices buy Shooters Pool and join our tables :) Here are many Korean players who are 1.3-1.4 real life. Learn a lot playing vs them :)
I learned fast when saw shots here(hit save button to record it) and then practice them on real table :)
