Brunswick gold crown 7 video ..everything new walk through from the expo!

They play good though. That's what matters most to me. I always did like a tough table though. Separates the men from the boys. The Anniversary was by far the most beautiful table imo. It was also the heaviest with over one inch slate and a super heavy frame. Played great for a seventy year old table!
They play super good. The Ox is the best to look at in my opinion. Followed by the Wolf and then the Accura. I like the rails on the Victory (shorter and flat, similar to the Ox), but the 'V' style stand/legs is gross.

I was offered a Rasson table already- Jason Shaw has Rassons in his room in CT. owned jointly with his Korean father in law, Joe. I have known Joe for a long time - I have an opportunity to possibly buy Jason's home table at his house here in CT- but I think that it is 4 1/4 pockets from what Joe tells me, and I don't want to start trying to alter it - no one around here is that skilled. The billiard room has 4 1/2 inch Rasson tables- they are super fast as well.
My older son has the Anniversary in his home here in Ct. - what a really nice table! - set up very well by the famous Blatt Billiards of NYC- the stock Anniversary pockets are just about 5 inches with very shallow slate depth- everything close to the pocket at a slow speed will drop- it is like night and day from playing on the Rasson in terms of speed and difficulty .
spent a couple of hours playing at US1, tables played well but the ball box is weird. Amazing Billiards has the same table in the side room but it banks really weird, kinda like an old red label. The Rasson OX tabled at Bangin Balls also play well but I’d be really leary of buying one. Good luck selling one if you decide it’s not right for you.

It's not the table....Someone ruined yours. What exactly is wrong with it? Not level. Wrong or poor cushion installation? Slates damaged.

I don't know.

I just know it plays really tough and stingy. Balls typically will go in on the break but it seems like rarely does it give up a decent runnable spread.

I suppose it might just be me.

When I get the new Diamond Professional if the same thing happens I will then have a pretty good idea of what the deal is.

Yes, thanks- I won't be buying one of their tables, the ball box is designed to fill the rack with balls as they enter the box- it is weird - agreed. There is another room about 25 minutes north of US1 called Yale billiards and he is installing Brunswick GC7s - probably early next year - I want to see how they play and how well they are installed. He now has some altered older GCs that play strange too IMO- pockets were tightened but seem to vary, and seems like the rails all have varying speeds, I want consistency.

You'll like the Diamond ...you'd enjoy the GC4 if set up right. Selling the GC4? ... My 4 is from 1998. Excellent condition...I'd want at least $5000 and could sell it tomorrow. Don't under estimate the value.

Highly unlikely I could get $5,000 for my GCIV here in southern Indiana.

I'd be lucky to get $2,500.

Are you the original owner?

Roger that.

Purchased from Orner Billiards in Indianapolis just before Christmas of 2002.

Was delivered/setup in early January 2003.

The Orner Billiards guys are the only ones that have ever worked on it. By worked on it I mean new cloth and making the pockets smaller. It had the 5" pockets when I bought it.

Something is not right if you are not happy with the 4. Anyway good luck as you move on.

I've been to Yale 4 or 5 times. Kickin Chicken usually arranges a match for me on the TV table. Hopefully I get another trip there next year after the install the GC7.

Have you been to Portland ME? Forest city Billiards has three Gaberial's. They seem to play nice and look nice. I was surprised when I crawled under them that they were all aluminum, but had no center supports(lengthwise).
