Uh oh, did you just call this event compelling?!This has become an oddly compelling event. Seeing how many ways Team USA can find a way to lose.
At least the players are putting up a fight. Styer and Gorst gave it their all, mistakes and all. SVB is the only one really playing his game, though.
Psychology coach needed.Gorst looked shell shocked in that first game against Filler. I think the whole Team USA is shell shocked after what just happened in that first match. Filler's position shot from the six to seven in rack one was twice as hard as Styer's eight to nine was, and he hit it perfectly. That clearly shows the difference ability wise in these two teams. Pros playing amateurs is how it looks.
Watching Greg Norman collapse or figure skaters fall or field goal kickers miss is also compelling. That's part of sports! This has become an oddly compelling event. Seeing how many ways Team USA can find a way to lose.

Yeah he is. I don't remember which player, but someone said last year that he kept leaving for smoke breaks every 5 minutes when the team was in the practice room or something like that. Bro was stressed indeedDoes anyone know if Jeremy Jones is a hard smoker? Looking at his brownish beard around the lips I would assume so.
I mean he also sounds like he's smoked a pack a day for 30 yearsDoes anyone know if Jeremy Jones is a hard smoker? Looking at his brownish beard around the lips I would assume so.
Nah. A person would have to really have issues to put this much effort into what I post on here.Uh oh, did you just call this event compelling?!

How many lags does Shane have to lose before another player gets a chance.
i finally had to put that troll in ignore. that rusinik/bergman MR wants the us to lose conspiracy shit got way past old.it's no conspiracy, the US team just isn't that good.
We have the talent but not the work ethic, along with a small handful of folks with the work ethic but not the talent. Only SVB combines the two.
that guy actually thinks this is a serious sporting event. its a gameshow with cues. lets see, how that other dude put it? all we need is Johan and Bergman and things would be golden. what's sad/funny is they believe that crap.Uh oh, did you just call this event compelling?!

We have no billiard schools, no coaches for the professional level players and the Euro’s include 14.1 in their arsenal.barry hearn was on between the matches. his response was more events in the US
which i guess in time can grow US players. but until then the euro and asian players gonna rob those events
Aloysius Yapp said it best when asked why he puts so much time into practicing (up to 8 hours-839 Fargo Rate)it's no conspiracy, the US team just isn't that good.
