Just came across this in my closet and forgot I had it. Anyone around here remember 1pRoscoe? Well the shirt says it all!
Jimbo was a bully, and his Army was a Troll Army.
I still have that shirt as well. I remember wearing it around the expo that year and people thinking I was Ross.Just came across this in my closet and forgot I had it. Anyone around here remember 1pRoscoe? Well the shirt says it all!
Jimbo had a big mouth but was just another Banger, new won any DCC Event....Fook him.Yes, if I remember correctly, I went home and cried to my mother on more than one occasion after Jimbo bullied me .
Wow! That’s how you judge people, by their DCC accomplishments? Just another banger is 99% of the posters here. I guess you think Fook yourself then?Jimbo had a big mouth but was just another Banger, new won any DCC Event....Fook him.
Jimbo plays well. He had a big mouth to those who deserved to hear it. It doesn't surprise me that you where on that list.Jimbo had a big mouth but was just another Banger, new won any DCC Event....Fook him.

And if Jimbo and his army weren't all Own Horn Tooters, you wouldn't have anything to talk about here. I don't mean that in any kind of a-hole way. All I'm saying is that it truly does take all kinds. Some of the most famous people in our little corner of this world are as famous as they are far more for their personalities than for their skills on the table. If a person is good at anything, it is better to just let your skill do the talking, then tooting your own horn. We have a local who use to try and convince everyone he was great Pool player. He standard line was every years "I go to and play in the BCAPL Championship in Las Vegas". If I heard him telling his tail, I use to say G****,anyone with the $125.00 to enter the BCAPL Event is welcome. Did you win anything last year’s G****, or just participate in the event?
I love watching the great players battling in the One Pocket at DCC, or other venues, in many cases the commentary is not necessary, but is nice.
Scott Frost recently started doing commentary on live streams on U-Tube, he knows the game so well, and his comment & knowledge is a bonus.
But when the great of the game are doing magic at the table they do not have to toot their own horns, most watching know they are witnessing something special.
Jimbo and his Army IMHO were all Own Horn Tooters, big time...FOOK EM.

By the way, I'm stealing the term "Horn Tooter."![]()
That is directed toward me.Jimbo and his Army IMHO were all Own Horn Tooters, big time...FOOK EM.
Heath, you know as well as I that Coco is, was, and always will be a halfwit. JA was one of the coolest collections of people I ever hung with. Always had a great time with Jim, Eric, Koop, Timbs, Cats, YOU…. and everyone else, either on the forums, the JA chat, or at SBE. Good times!!That is directed toward me.
Jimbo and his "army" were some of the coolest people I have met from this forum and his. I proudly still keep in touch with them and am happy to see them the once or twice a year that it happens now at different events.
Do you see the names on the back of that shirt? A lot of notable people from the pool world. Company owners, cue makers, event runners. Not just "horn tooters".

I know, man. I was just razzing you. The type of people you initially talked about are exhausting and I do my best to limit my time around them.Well many who are great at Sport, Jobs, Acting etc., never Toot Own Horns, they are like the great comic Johnathan Winders, a very down to earth guy in person, who I use to run into downtown Burbank. He was one of the nicest people in Hollywood, and appreciate his fans. Unlike many of the Starts today.
I know this won’t mean anything to you, Bruce, but…
One of Scott Frost’s first commentary of any kind was with yours truly. I am very proud of Scott, as he told me how difficult he found it and didn’t realize it was gonna be so difficult, and I walked him through it.
I know you’ve got nothing to say nice about Jimbo, and you clearly don’t know him, and a lot of people just think he’s just a loudmouth guy from the Internet… And he was on the Internet from the late 90s so it’s not like he’s a newbie. But what you don’t know is that one of these league things that you talk about, in your case, the BCA Pool league, in his case, the APA nationals and now what’s known as the world APA tournament. He captained and won what would today be now called an amateur world team championship in the APA. So whatever you have to say about him… In the amateur world… He won an awfully big title. And you never heard him brag about it. In fact, he’s always downplayed his skill. You will never find a post where he said he was a great player, but you’l find plenty where he said he sucked compared to real players.
I'll add that you didn't read (or comprehend) a thing I wrote. So, keep on keeping on. Why a post about a t-shirt has upset you so much is a bit sad.Funny you mention, Scott Frost as hew is doing commentary now on Railbirds, and at DCC, he is almost a clone of Danny DiLiberto. Knows game, know how to talk about a match to make it interesting, know how to play it, and last was top Player. Scott is a great One Pocket commentator.
Don't know Jimbo and I think he is as you said, a loudmouth guy from the Internet. Even started his own Forum for his little Army.
There is a lot of amateur champs, they for many reason never became pro champs. Pro Champs are just that Professionals. The Difference between MLB, and kids living in the Valley Chasing a dream, good enough to be A, AA, AAA Baseball, but not good enough, or never go the call to THE BIG LEAGUE.
I use to say anyone can take a photo with camera, few people do it good enough to make a nice living with a camera. Difference between Hobbiest, Amateur, or Pro.
Got anything to add FRED?
