Merry Christmas to all. This Collection was started during Covid lockdown in 2020 as boredom took over and I had time to pursue my passion I have for HRB. The collection is not finished yet but thought I would share what I have been able to obtain through the first 5 yrs. More to come over the next 5 yrs. I know I’m kinda of a nut for this wood but it is such a beautiful wood to see in person.I want to thank the cue builders for their creative designs and for doing the cues for me and for making a beautiful functional piece of art in the process. I also would like to thank Junglepixie for making this possible with her beautiful collection of blanks which without access to none of this would have been possible for me. Terry, Hope you had a nice Holiday season. I’ll be down just for the day on January 31st. I may have an Astle and Sugartree for sale. I’ll probably pick up that Morgan as well. Hope to see ya then.
 
that particular wood is one of the woods that is going to be included on my next build later this year. I replaced the amboyna burl after much consideration and after my builder ran out of amboyna burls.

It is a beautiful wood. Be selective on who you get it from, quality will vary. Definitely want stuff with mostly eyes. Sap wood on the outside can mostly be turned out. Cost on this wood is going up.

I'm having a bit of a challenge of acquiring this wood and the italian olivewood and pricing, so I'm going for a Bocote if worse comes to worse.
