Hi All,

Colorado Snooker is hosting the new National Snooker League in Westminster, Co in partnership with the Wreck Room Underground. We're excited and pleased to be able to offer snooker enthusiasts the opportunity to hone their skills and compete against other like-minded people. It is slated to begin in March and with a few spots left, it's already heating up. If you are in the area and are interested in playing (over 10 weeks), use to secure your spot. All fees will be collected at the end of the month and are in CAD.

In addition, Colorado Snooker is also holding the Open in May and you can register your interest at https://www.coloradosnooker.com/open2026 for that. The league will be made up of divisions of groups of 5 players, with the best performers getting a chance to qualify for the NSL Championship in Toronto, and compete for a first place prize of $50,000 CAD. Don't miss out, and if you have any questions, please reach out to Colorado Snooker at
We look forward to seeing you there.

Hi Bob, this is being spearheaded by a group out of Canada, however it is its own entity as far as I'm aware. There will be no governance by either of the bodies in the US or Canada, to the best of my understanding. This is being run by the new NSL. Let me know if I answered your question appropriately or if you have any others. Thanks for reaching out.

Thanks for the answer.

My view: they should try to cooperate with the organizations already in place. There are so few people interested in organizing snooker events in North America that it is counterproductive to make yet another organization.

I don't know the particular politics involved in this situation, but in my experience with multiple other instances in the cue sports world, such divisive efforts are usually caused by personalities, politics, greed, and/or ignorance.

Canada has several organizations. At least in the USA there one combined group with the USSA and PABSA. It would be great if all the different Canadian entities could burry the hatchet (swallow pride etc etc) and would fold up into PABSA to combine snooker for the Americas.
