What’s the worst cue you’ve ever bought?

The cues of my youth were pure dee pitiful, but I loved them because they were mine and they were all I had. Since then, I have felt the same about each one I picked up -- wonderful -- just find the balance and play -- just like dancing with different girls at a dance. I suffer no delusions, so I do not ever expect my ability to exceed the quality of any of my cues: TS, Cog, B. Jones, Espiritu (2), Gulyassy, WHPro, Schon, Joss, Meucci, Shuriken, and Predator.

Paradise cue from decades ago. It was a pretty piece of junk. Years later I had a Bert Schrager cue that I liked, but the inlays started separating and coming apart. Poorly made cue is all I can say.

I once bought a stealth cue from Q master's while I was in town at Damn Neck for training and didn't have my cue with me. It still played half way decent. I used it as a break cue after I got back till it was swiped from Yucaipa Billiards in SoCal.

I honestly like all of the cues I have until my arthritis starts acting up in my hands and runs down into my feet so much so that I miss super easy shots and don't want to sit or even stand up . I'm hoping my insurance will allow me to try what my Dr claims is a better drug so time will tell .

My first cue was one of those carved wood cues where the butt came apart and had a couple of washers around each joint - I think it was around $20 at Kmart, Sears, or whatever big box sports stores were around at that time. You know, the ones you see on ebay now that say "vintage" and try to sell for a crazy amount of money.
After that I moved to a big box store Dufferin - pretty sure it was just solid brown with that horrible brass joint. You know it's quality when the pin is in the shaft! At least that was the joke from all of my friends. It was a gift from my girlfriend, so I used it until we broke up.

After that break up I picked up a warped Mali from a pawn shop. Ended up playing the guy that sold it to the shop. Didn't know it was warped until he pointed it out. I think I paid $80 for it and he said he sold it for $40. Then I proceeded to lose another $40 to him!

Eventually bought a Meucci that I absolutely hated. Was pretty happy when it broke.

Had a Cuetec that I hated as well - back when wearing a glove to play pool would get you beat up. :ROFLMAO:

The worst cue I ever bought was a Dufferin I bought for my wife the one year she played league pool.
After she gave up pool I used it when I played pool in my basement.
The first cue I bought for myself was an Eckes cue in 1975 that I really liked until my brother broke it.
Then I bought another Eckes cue in 1985 that I still have and use sometimes when practicing.
The last cue I bought was my Meucci 95-11 which I purchased in 1995 and is my main player today.
Both the Eckes and Meucci cues are awesome playing cues with superb feel and control.
Both have the original shafts but I have a Keilwood shaft on order for the Meucci....
The original shaft on the Meucci has developed a couple dings over the last 31 years.

There are no BAD Cues, if it just for playing. Person with Skill, can play well with most any Cue.

Worst experience with Cuemaker was Tony Zinzola, he butchered design, ran late, ran later, was Mr. Excuses, was someone who had a wonderful offortunity to be major player in the Cue Biz, until he Shafter TIKKLER.

JMHO
Gaps you could drive a car through in the inlays. Horrible work
