The CARBON FIBER Shaft With the LEAST Cue Ball DEFLECTION

If CRBN and WSC Jungle are in the bunch, what carbon fiber shaft is not? Is there no secret in making low-deflection shafts now?
I have an off brand cf shaft I bought from someone on the forum, apparently he bought a batch from some Chinese source. The level of deflection is off the charts, so much so that if it wasn't 12.5 I'd be trying it as a jump shaft. (I really have to try jumping with it before it goes in the trash.)

I think everything a company does to get lower LD raises the chances the shaft will fail so hopefully the company answers the phone when you call with a cracked shaft.

I suspect it would take a hammer to crack my off brand shaft, it will outlast dirt.

Did you put a fiber pad under the tip? The original 314 didn't have one. Adding one increased the deflection. Adding two makes it almost like there was no hole.

No

I used various tips over the years, but I never saw a pattern to the deflection amount. I would notice other things like how much action I could get on the cueball depending on shape and hardness of the tip. There may have been differences, just not enough so i could notice it.
