Has anyone experienced diminished vision from using a cell phone before and during playing pool?

Diminished focus on the game, yes. Diminished vision, no.
I try my best to not use mine while i'm playing but i find it really hard haha. I seem to always check it randomly.
I notice it. I think it's a combination of screen time drying out my eyes and that my eyes don't seem to like focus up close anymore so they get tired/strained pretty fast.
I had a diminished vision 2 weeks ago after I've done my licensing exam which lasted 4 hours using my prescription glasses. felt horrible since I went playing a day after and I couldn't even aim at the object balls. returned with a vengeance a few days later. I guess needed time for my eyes to readjust. cellphone use? not really. I focus the same. although I was focusing more on the game than just being on my phone.
Diminished interest in completing the set with 2 people I play with. One is constantly checking his phone or watching a game. I start taking flyers or simply say I'm tired and stop playing. Other is a relative. I take out my phone wait until tells me it's my turn... No reason for a phone to be out...

Are you on the phone at this time? Is texting your opponent when he begins to shoot a shark or fair game?It only affects me when I come on here and argue with you idiots
other than that, it is also plainly disrespectful to your opponent, synonymous to saying I don't give a rat's ass about you or you are not worth my time or focusing on unless it's only my turn and only time to shoot. on the otherhand, I like it better compared to someone standing infront of you on every shot.
