"I'd love to inherit INSERT PLAYER's NAME cue from when he won INSERT TOURNAMENT"

There's already a thread on what cue would you want at no cost, and I am not going to hijack that thread. That thread is about brands and cue makers.

So, if you could inherit (or find at a garage sale on the cheap) a specific player's cue that you know he used and probably won tournaments with, who is the player and what was the cue (or the tournament/era)?

I have to think on this a bit, but I know that it isn't anything recent. I love the cues from "back in the day" when ESPN starting showing tournaments and Accu-stats was putting out videos (late 1980s, I suppose) and we would marvel at cues like Jim Rempe's Meucci Crown Jewel cue.

I have no idea of what the over/under would be on how many cues he hocked or sold telling people “This is the cue I won the Open with”.

Mosconi’s Rambow. A later Balabushka would be nice, but IIRC from a book Rambow made him one early on. So I’d say the first Rambow he got.

Lol. I remember "hundred & a quarter" w/2 shafts. Not crazy about steel joints anymore though. Those with black implex collars would be my choice now.
