I just bought this Arthur cue that should be heading to KC in the next few days. Looking forward to having one of these cues with the really cool extension. Five points of green Buckeye Burl into Ebony, with a buffalo leather wrap.

Here are a couple pics from their site. I will take pics when I get the cue.

The new Arthur cue finally arrived safely this past Wednesday. It looks and plays great, as expected. If I buy another directly from them, I will definitely see if I can pay extra for DHL to deliver directly to my house. It took two days for the cue to get from Germany to Chicago where DHL handed it off to the USPS....13 days later I got the cue. UGH!!!

Alls well that ends well, the fine folks at Dienst Billiards did an awesome job packing the cue and sent directions on how to add weight to the butt and the new Weight Balance Shafts (WBS) low deflection shafts. I was able to fine tune the shafts to make them the exact same weight. Overall I am very pleased with the look and playability of the cue.

Here are a couple pictures from the pool room. Enjoy and thanks for looking:

Very cool cue. I admit, I'm unfamiliar with the cue maker, but really like the build.

Thanks for sharing!

I got cue from Japan in a few days, less than a week, via DHL. I don't remember exactly but it blew my mind how fast it was. Faster than our typical carriers like USPS, UPS, FedEx can get it across the country.

I would definitely ask about it and see what it takes. The longer it's out there, the more likely something will go wrong, resulting in damage or loss.

Damn nice cue.

Thanks David,

Marcue Dienst has been making Arthur cues since the 1990s and the most famous player that uses their cues is probably Ralf Souquet. This is my third one and all have been great players.

Thanks for looking.

Chopdoc,

Thanks for looking, I have bought a few cues from Davor and he sends them DHL Express and they have all gotten here in 2 or 3 days from Croatia. Great tracking and appear to be a really delivery option for international packages.

I wanted to say 3 days but I couldn't remember specifically and didn't want to exaggerate. Picking the right shipper and shipping options is critical, especially when dealing internationally.

Arthur cues are excellent.
Honestly if you could have a German handle the shipping door to door you could probably have it next day. 😉
