New FusionCue game called Maze. Ultimate way to develop soft hands

Hey all, I just released an extremely interactive and visual way of teaching soft hands and cue ball control.

Check it out, curious about your thoughts.

well, I think you have several problems with this.

First off, it'd be nice to see some details on the equipment needed to project this on a table.

But at a more basic level, I'm not sure how this is suppose to help an aspiring player, other than keeping them somewhat amused. I get that you're into speed control but nowadays, I don't believe players roll up on a ball for safety play but instead try and create distance and blockage -- if you're on a ball it's easy to return a safety because the hit is right there in front of you. So from a real life practical live fire perspective I don't get how it's suppose to help players.

The graphics are neat and all but for $1k I think I can find other uses for my pool monies. Convince me otherwise...

I think the target customer for that particular drill is going to be in the FargoRate 300 or APA 2 range. The main value seems to be holding their attention long enough to get them hooked on the game.

I use five or six other drills/exercises/games for developing the low end of the speed range. The students are shooting shots that are useful in games. No extra equipment is required for any of them.

My software has 3 modes: drill play for serious players, and the game mode, and the local/internet multiplayer aspect. You're seeing just the fun part (and it's a lot more fun than what you'd think).

If you want to see the full capabilities of it (which exceed any other system today by a wide margin), check out this video here:

I've been working on this for years, just want to make sure no one is getting the wrong idea about what it is. ;)

It looks fun to me. Whether I'd spend money on it is another question. AZB is definitely the wrong place to promote something like this, since almost everyone here is an old-school player who most likely isn't into that sort of thing. I still think it's cool, though.

I can't recall if you're the same developer but I asked if you could play virtual pool with your stick and table. No response.

Not sure what ya mean by virtual pool? You can play others in real-time over the internet, on your real pool table, while their overhead camera feed is projected onto your table and you chat with them via mic. Here's one of me and my beta testers.. You can watch videos about it on the site.

Oh I get that now, lol. But FusionCue is like 100x more than just that game demo I showed. The entire couple years I've spent building it, has been on the serious player development side with drills. The last week or so I focused on adding these types of games. Note to self: Don't show the games on AZB. 🤣

VP as in Virtual Pool the game. Then you don't need to place or shoot actual balls. Instant un/re do etc.
