Willie hoppe cue and Brunswick case help

I have a Willie hoppe cue that came in a Brunswick case. I am looking for more information on both items. The case seems to be similar to the lord Brunswick cases I have seen on here, but it does not have a crown symbol on the top. I will attach images of both. I’ll be looking to sell them together so if anyone has any value estimates or history on the items that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Nice cue.
I believe this cue to be made in Japan. It is possibly made in the late 60's to early 70's by Adam.
The blanks were made by Schmelke for these cues if I remember correctly.
Most cues of this era did not fetch as much as the earlier models.
My estimate would be in the range of $300 to $400 range depending on condition of the cue and case.
The finish and veneer colors were better on these cues then their predecessors.
You may get slightly more if the stars align.

A lot about the cue bothers me. The bumper, the label, to screw appears too long and possibly not a 14. Even where it says Willie hoppe looks misplaced. I've owned a number of Hoppe cues, in fact it's one of the first cues I ever owned I bought a brand new for $27 and it came in a cardboard tube in the early sixties.
I like the case. It seems to be an older one with the buckle. I think later they went to a snap.

interesting opinions. I am not knowledgeable on the subject so I never considered its authenticity. I did not know cue dupes were a thing. I did some research before asking here and found similar / matching cues as far as screw type, bumper type, color, signature placement. Although I do agree based on my limited research I was unsure about the labels compared to the other examples.

It is definitely an outsourced Brunswick cue.
Like I said they are a little bit different than the ones made by Brunswick from the early 40's through the middle 60's. I believe there were 7 different iterations.
All had different labels, handy for telling the timeline.
The Japan cues had bright veneers and nice Rosewood, and the finish was a higher standard than the earlier versions with a better fitting leather wrap, and a longer pin.
I have many Hoppes in my collection but I don't have a green/white label.
Or a black label or a Adam Hoppe. I need to do better :geek:
