Are high end predators hard to sell on the secondary market?

Less fortunate speculators learn the hard way that not every limited edition production release is considered collectible, or rare.
While not a 1:1, this reminds me of the recent Target Mewtwo Pokemon promo card event where scalpers camped outside stores, some for +12hrs. When the cards first started going up, they sold for ~$100. Then it dropped to $50, and now you can get it as low as $20, hell I saw some going for $16 or worse ($4.) So lines of scalpers that camped out for 1/2 a day (that was supposed to be a family event btw) are at worst currently making .30 cents/hr for their time.

To anyone with kids having trouble getting them a happy meal from McDonald's starting Nov 5th thru Dec 9th, similar reason.

Look out for some more....
Joshua Filer posted this image on his FB, looks like 2 new Predator cues that will cost too much...
He used one of them in Bali

I'll bet that they'll sell out in seconds

the style reminds me of some of the chinese/taiwanese custom cue brands, gold and glitter, many small inlays. not my style, but it's better than the panthera and some other designs
