This song reminds me of twenty years of my life, traveling, playing, winning/losing/working/traveling.... making new friends.
Lived in different states for a couple decades, enjoying the differences in culture/thinking's and foods and Quirks I truly enjoyed.
I LOVE THIS SONG BECAUSE IT'S PARALLELS TO WHAT IT TAKES/HAS TAKEN AND WILL TAKE/ YouR person, to be Great. In my world.

I wish more people could (honestly) say that. I know way too many people, including most of my relatives, who have lived in the same town/city/region their entire lives and know nothing about life elsewhere. Few of them know anything about their own country or its culture, except for their own tiny corner of it. No single region of the country is representative of the entire country.

couple hours plus east of reno on the hiway. where in reno your friend mickey peel had the cue and cushion.
winnemucca had a great basque restaurant then. not much else.

When you said Reno.... and seeingJay posting and all the pro events I attended there, I Immediately thought of Louie Lemke, and the vegetarian restaurant a short walk away from the event center that he took me too.
I was a midwest borne steak, potato and salad guy.
Louie was MN.
A first.... I enjoyed the slimy, wormy, slippery spicey health foods, went there a few more times.
