Very nice! Looks like I wouldn't bump my head, either! When I first put up my light, I would occasionally contact it but only on the rare occasion...doesn't happen anymore.

I replaced the fluorescent tubes in my Gold Crown light with dimmable LED tubes. Cut out the ballasts, direct wired the tombstones, put in a compatible dimming switch for the particular lights...very happy with the outcome. The biggest plus is absolutely no hum. Of course, if I have the stereo...

Did you see his light frame? Pic is on the far right on my computer and had to use the bottom scroll bar. It is going to hold those 2 2x2 panels nicely.

Looking good. You will get some nice even light distribution using two of the 2x2 panels at each end of your light hood--I have seen too many people toss up a single LED panel in the middle of a 9 foot table and there is going to be light intensity falloff towards the edges...doesn't matter what...

I had seen someone else say to just put them in use on the table and they would lighten up. Sunlight, huh???

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I came across a similar set on craigslist a few months ago. The box was a bit beat up, but the balls were in like-new condition. The guy said he bought them years ago when he got his table and that was his special set for very special events and he hardly ever had time to play. Said he used them...

Brunswick Gold Crown Light San Antonio

I saw a nice Gold Crown light listed on the San Antonio craigslist page for $750. If you are interested in one of these lights and live in the area, looks like a nice buy. I love my Gold Crown light and recently upgraded it to dimmable LED tubes.

    Why pay to recover table

I threw them together in a single file for when I did my first table...didn't keep track of the file after I printed it, though. The resolution could be better on the leveling diagram...was quite fuzzy, but figured it out. All in all, it was a very helpful document to me and I ended up with a...

    Why pay to recover table

I went this exact same route. First on an Olhausen, then on my current Diamond Professional. I consider myself fairly handy, did the research, and the table plays perfect. I do think that leveling the table and putting down the cloth is not as complex a procedure as replacing or refurbishing...

How to install a brunswick gold crown light?

I converted my Gold Crown light from fluorescent tubes to LED tubes a couple weeks ago. I went with a direct wire LED tubes, so I removed the ballasts and wired the common to one end of the tubes and the hot wire to the other end of the tubes, all in parallel. It was actually quite...

    LED pool table lights

Home Depot Closeout Sale Home Depot has had several sized LED panels on closeout this week...perhaps making space for next year's model? I think I saw 1' x 1', 2' x 2', and 4' x 2'. I couldn't tell you anything about the actual light characteristics, but might be worth a look if you are looking...

How to install a brunswick gold crown light?

My current light is already set up for eight 48" T12 tubes and I am replacing them with eight 48" LED tubes which can use both shunted and non-shunted tombstones. I'll just need to remove the ballasts, run the hot wire to one side of each light's tombstone and the common to the other end of each...

    Brunswick Pool Table Light Numbers

You can get black vinyl stickers of various sizes in crafting and art departments, such as Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and even Walmart. That's the cheap solution and what I currently have on my table. If you want a specific font, then a sign shop should be able to give you just about anything...

How to install a brunswick gold crown light?

Replaced a couple burnt out fluorescent tubes on my Gold Crown light the other day. Just to note, I have now seen photos of Gold Crown lights with eight 4' long tubes, like I have, and also lights with four 8' long tubes. Perhaps Brunswick changed the design over the years, perhaps folks swapped...

    Uknown Orchid?

Orchid USA I picked up an Orchid USA marked cue yesterday. Never heard of them before. I was picking up an older set of Gold Crown Centennials (for $40!) that were in excellent condition and the guy offered to throw in the cue with hard case and a box of chalk for another $10. Linen wrap is not...
