    Weak mental game

Recently I gotten out of my slump and it was thanks to the input of the many friendly members on here . But now I'm faced with another issue which is my mentality during a match as usually if I'm just playing alone it doesn't pose much of an issue however if i were in a match where i HAD to win...

    Stakehorse scam

That's a possibility too . But ridethebus should have the shipping details and possibly more information , i'd still suggest to hand this over to the local/scammer's PD .

Well this situation is just awkward . But if it were me i'd say it's either he's full of shit or that someone has hacked his account . But with all those red reps i can only imagine .

    Stuck in a pool slump

I figured it was the weights i have been doing , so i cut it down dramatically . I'm not sure whether i have lost my "muscle memory" but heck it seems even basic drills cant get me back the finesse in the stroke . Any good ways to get back a good stroke ?

    Stuck in a pool slump

I was playing real fine 2 months back . But ever since i started going to the gym i started not being able to shoot certain shots that i have been able to previously , soon after that i set repeated shots as i was paranoid that my skill had "left" me . And after each time i missed the tension...

    Stuck in a pool slump

In the recent two months my game has been de-proving to the point anybody who picks up a cue would probably kick my ass . My fundamentals aren't solid but it's there . My mental game is really weak , just about any negativity gets to me . Some inputs on getting out of this hole ?

    Cue weight as you age

But well i'm 1.8m tall , so my stance is still leaning forward into the shot and i found that forward weighted cues very easy to use . Extremely easy induce cue power and its so accurate . but since most forward weighted cues have their balance point to the front so they are usually light .

"Be the Ball" is Horrible Advice

Agreed . I got into huge debt at first thinking betting would give me the urge to transgress myself in that very match , but it didnt . I really only started getting my game off once i started focusing on my stroke/stance/cueing/eyes/gameplay . Practice is far more effective . If its a down...

    Cue weight as you age

    I'm 17 and i use a 18.5oz cue . Usually i stroke far better with a lighter cue , awkwardly enough .

Stupid things you see in a Pool hall

People half-squatting in both knees playing with the rubber bumper instead of the tip . This happened alot in the first pool halls i were in

    tip soaked in milk

Not too long ago i tried Jeff's milk duds ( elk master tips treated with milk ) and i would have to say in a way this process softens up the tip as well as increasing its elasticity . But i have yet to try a layered tip that has been through that process .

YANG CASE ~ Monkey King ~ Gold of Fighting

Some spectacular and exquisite design . The details that are reflected off these cases really do scream how great the craftsmanship must have been . $2000+ for it is kinda tight especially for those who do not have that kinda of financial funding but it seems worth each dollar .

[POLL] When do you show up to a tournament?

Usually if i have not been to the place to feel out the tables I'd like to get 1-2 hours of running racks so i can roughly guess how much the cushions/speed/pockets vary from what i am accustomed to then it'll be easier to adjust from and much more predictable . Then i go for a drink , relax and...
