Troy Downey good cue for the money?

I believe downey cues to be the best bang for the buck around. Troy doesn't compromise when it comes to quality, and his cues play great. He is an under the radar maker, that deserves more recognition as far as i'm concerned. He also cares about the customer, and will try to accomodate your...

    bois de rose question

I'm in the planning stages for a custom sneaky. I'm looking for reviews on how bois de rose plays. Is it the same hit as other rosewoods? Is it stiff or pingy? Does it have a crisp hit or does it thud? Do you get a lot of buzz, or does it feel dead? I think it would look sharp on a sneaky style...

    What is the pin difference??

I've played with most of them, and i like the brass pins the most. Something, about the feel and sound of the hit just does it for me. My favorite is a brass radial pin w/ivory joint, just a beautiful thing to feel. How it feels to you is most important, but that's my opinion.

Time For Tournaments to be in a central local?

kansas city, omaha, denver, chicago, etc etc. Somehow i think these byroad "towns" could support a few players. i like the idea, although i doubt it will happen. there's a lot of opportunity in the midwest, and the motivation would be there-money. i guess if all you do is fly over the midwest...

    Overreacting?

Loud people on league night? NEVER! All kidding aside, this is a part of leagues. I don't think you were wrong, in fact congrats. But this won't be the last time, so you have to evaluate how to approach it with your team. I like to stand up off my shot and stare at the idiot(s) who's making the...
