I'm in the planning stages for a custom sneaky. I'm looking for reviews on how bois de rose plays. Is it the same hit as other rosewoods? Is it stiff or pingy? Does it have a crisp hit or does it thud? Do you get a lot of buzz, or does it feel dead? I think it would look sharp on a sneaky style...

I've played with most of them, and i like the brass pins the most. Something, about the feel and sound of the hit just does it for me. My favorite is a brass radial pin w/ivory joint, just a beautiful thing to feel. How it feels to you is most important, but that's my opinion.
