Using the mechanical bridge - should it be banned?

You are missing my point. Cues doesn't equal clubs. Equipment making the game easier and more consistent is the subject at hand. A Sand wedge does make getting out of the bunker easier. The bridge makes reaching a shot easier. Both are legal and are only a benefit if used well. That is my point...

Using the mechanical bridge - should it be banned?

Wow, hope I don't regret this statement but... To take your analogy and carry it through to golf, so everyone plays with the same size, style and weight of clubs from the same tee? Golf has had the equipment change over the years and yet there is nobody saying that they all should be playing...

    Roland Becker Chess Themed Cue

I was around when Bert Kellerman had that set made. Bert was a collector of chess sets and that was the inspiration for the series. At the time Roland was providing cue repairs at the Grand Prix tour here in Denver. Bert liked to employ the local cue makers for his ideas. Roland made some very...

My Kellerman 6pt Artistic Engineering AE Cue

Morning All, I was taking some pictures of my AE cue from the Burt Kellerman auction to get some thread protectors made by cuecaps. I thought if I had the pics I should share. I'm so proud to have one of Burts old cues. It is a link to my friend that I will always cherish. -Doug

Burt Kellerman pool cue auction List

Its my hope that Burts Bushka ended up with Robbie Kellerman or his other son Hal. Burt had many friends and I thought the auction was a nice way to allow them a little piece of Burt.

Burt Kellerman pool cue auction List

I was at the auction and came with a different purpose than most. Burt was my friend and I didn't feel right asking Kay to part with something without paying for it. I bought one cue and one of Burts Stars and Bars jacket with is 7th place trophy from the Grand Prix tour. Burt was a dear friend...

    Burt Kellerman Collection Of Cues

Burt was a wonderful collector of everything. He had classic cars he used to race, chess sets, shotguns (side by side of course!) and of course cues. Burt got into pool by accident. I met Burt through his son Robbie. When Rob was maybe 12 years old he was learning to play from some of the best...

Thanks for the posting. It was a wonderful walk down memory lane. I played on several of Burts teams and have test hit or played with most of those cues. I always admired Burt's character and miss him terribly.

    Sandbaggin thief !!!

My 2 cent, I don't know Matt. I'm not familiar with this tournament. I AM familiar with the APA. After spending almost 15 years in the APA I can say that most of the fault here is with the system. The APA's ranking system moves slowly. Anyone who started in the APA knows that those first few...
