Best bridge

Which bridge do you think is the best out there.I have a old fashioned screw on metal bridge and i fear using it because i dont want to mess up my shafts.

The adjusta-bridge is kinda cool but a little spendy. I use a moose if I really have to but I have done some work of my own to it like putting leather in each cue groove.

I like the concept behind the just-a-bridge, but I agree to spendy and also to bulky. I have both the moosehead and the Corona bridges that I use. I gotta say once i finished all the extra work on my moosehead I enjoy it more than my Corona simply because it is more universal. If you want do not want to go through the hassle of sanding the moosehead, I highly recommend the Corona.

The best bridge is either the Tiger or the Kamui leather bridge.
I have them both.

Tiger Corona for small case (when I go minimalist and/or walk).

Retractable Bridge + Hager extension for larger case (league/tournaments).

I use the above combo similar to the Stretch System mentioned above.

Note: The retractable bridge had burrs where the cue rests and I used a small circular knife sharpener to smooth things out. And, the bridge head came off one time when I extended it (separated from the telescoping part). I glued it back on with some tip glue. Works great now.

I use the leather bridge shown above. No chance to dent or scratch the shaft.

Metal bridges don't damage the shaft most of the time. But if you get a strange hit on the cue ball where the shaft hops or vibrates on the bridge, you will get tiny dents. It's a risk.

Cue slides better on the leather. Sometimes get squeaks or drag on plastic bridges.
