There is a weekly 8ball tourny on fridays. Race to 3 both sides, modified BCA rules because of the 8ball pot and $11 entry + calcutta. Starts @ 8pm if I remember correctly.

My vote goes to Andy Gilbert, his jump breaks offer the most bang for the buck. They Break great, play great and I have yet to find a cue that you can break down and jump with ease with a lepro tip. If you like playing with stiff cues his cues are hard to beat.

I personally like burnishing with brown corrugated cardboard, you can really burnish your shaft well with plain old cardboard.

Saturday sounds good to me, I just need people to reply to this thread so I can show the owners that I have players wanting to come in on saturdays. I'll be out of town this saturday but I can change the tournament if I can get enough of a response.

Yes the cloth is Simonis now and not the tan felt that the tables used to have, the tables play really good now. Now if only people would show up and play.

I feel you man, I was trying to make the tournament take place on fridays but the owners wouldn't host a tournament on their busiest day. Wednesdays is also the only day that I have during the week to run a tournament other than friday because of league on mondays and tuesday and thursday I run...
