stiffer cues or whipper cues cause less deflection?

Meucci's claim to have less OBJECT ball deflection whereas a cue like predator has less CUE ball deflection. Its up to you which one you want less of. Does that make sense?

I have found yet another addiction in pool.....

a good buddy of mine informed me that extensive one hole play can start to deteriorate your overall stroke and weaken your 9-ball game. I agree with this since a lot of the money players who play extrodinary 1 hole won't play big $$ in a set of 9ball, with the exception of say, Reyes or Deuel.

    Will I get banned?

You said something about giving weight in another post. If you want some action come down here to ATL and I have someone you can give the last 4 to.

How do you handle this? (long)

Well you know how to settle it once and for all? challenge him to a race to 9 with a few people looking and shut him up once and for all! Once people know that you play better than him, he's just gonna be known for being a sore loser and won't take his words too seriously. Hell, put some money...

Thanks guys. I just felt a little bad for Paul since I'm friends with him and all and I might be a little biased but I just don't like it when people bash on him for the wrong reasons.

and btw, if you play competitive pool, rack checking is a smart thing because you want everything to be equal when the game starts. If it isn't equal, doesn't one player have an unfair advantage? If that player deliberately sets this advantage up, isn't that called cheating? Since there's no ref...

I know I'm very late in replying to this entire thing but I just have a few things to say. (I haven't been on this forum in a long time) I hate to see the reputation of one of my closest friends being tarnished online just because someone with a pretty face spread a false rumor. Like some of...

Any info on this cue Thanks.

GW (the ginger wizard who happens to be dave pearson) cue is a cue line made by lucasi/players. Its pretty good quality and hits fairly well. Lucasi/Players also makes another line called Vintage denoted by a VT#. The quality is all about the same. The all have the roman numerals on the butt end...

Road Player name Doug Young? Texas maybe?

I hear of Doug all the time. I see him on occasion. If you want action, he's up here in ATL Georgia at a pool hall named Mr. Cues II. He's there a couple nights a week. Young guy, but knows his game. As several other of you mentioned, he gives a lot of weight. Lotta other players up here too...

    ER240 Shaft

I was hoping if someone knew how to acquire a ER240 shaft with a 5/16x14 piloted. I know that Alphabilliards sells them but its in Japanese and being in ATL, GA. I was wondering if a dealer in the states distributed them. Thanks!
