I have been looking for information on my old Meucci cue ... I called Bob's place a long time ago and got his daughter on the phone ... She said there were no records on the cue. It is a 2 point cue which may not be obvious in the photos. Thanks for any info ! T.C.

My advice would be to get the starter lathe package from Midamericapool ... There is a smaller one for around 465.00 ... That lathe plus a drilling tailstock for another 70.00 or so will do tips, tenons, ferrules, rewraps, cleanings and most smaller turning operations. If you decide your needs...

Rotating equipment is very dangerous. Please get on YouTube and watch a lot of videos concerning lathe safety. There are also plenty of videos concerning live and dead center usage as well as lathe dogs. Do a bunch of research and study before you attempt anything on your lathe and always wear...

I use Todd's router mount with a Porter Cable 7310 on a Taig style cross-slide. I offset my tailstock and use 60 degree dead and live centers with a lathe dog ... It's very sturdy and extremely easy to work with. I use it to taper and cut points as well. The 7310 has a base that comes with it...
