    thanks for all the responses. Made some practice shots and its very consistent. On straight in shots, the OB is going towards the left. I am left handed. Given that scenario, it means I am pulling the cue butt towards my body right ?

    Sorry got no info myself, all I know is that something is different when I power up vs the slow roll the OB to the pocket... I reckon my grip/stroke is pulling the cue offline... now I need to identify if its going left or right.. this should help... Thanks

    I have a jump break cue, the butt handle sections made from some rosewood and its a bit too heavy for my taste, I plan to have someone bore it out with 3/4 hole (or 1/2 maybe ?) for about 12 inches. I dont plan on putting anything inside. Any risk ?. Please respond with "Brilliant" :smile...

    I know this is near impossible unless, you cut the tree yourself or your at the lumber yard, but has anyone here ever had the chance to get the center most part of the trunk ? How would it look like ? Would it have rings ?

    It it hits great and its a Meucci, it must be defective cue that slipped undetected in the quality control department. Send it back to the factory and they will replace it with a new one :grin:

    if a 3/8 x10 pin works for the butt and shaft, I see no reason why it wont work for the A joint, it works for Jump/Break cues which is subjected to the most extreme shots

    Anyone made a Lego cue where the A and B joint is connected using a 3/8 x 10 that is not glued, hence you can change the handle wood, forearm and butt sleeve to different types or wood. This way you can provide customers different "hits" with different types of wood.

    Thanks kelly I got lucky !!! Main shaft and butt was won in a Christmas Party Raffle :). Cue hits like a brick wall !!! Butt had a leather wrap which I did not like, so I asked the cuemaker to make an exact copy same woods less the leather wrap, Second shaft and third came from that purchase.
