Help with thoughts / info about "RIEPER CO." billiards cue?

Help with thoughts / info about "RIEPER CO." billiards cue?

A couple of things I learned. I did not know Rieper company lasted until the 70’s And that they were produced in Japan in the later years. It would be interesting to know their story.

Help with thoughts / info about "RIEPER CO." billiards cue?

The color of the veneers is exceptional, as is the condition of the cue. I am confused on why you think the cue was made in Japan? I walked past the address where the company was originally located just last week in NYC.

    any downside to this??

I have coated brass pins before the install with lead free solder. Sounds goofy but it tightened up the loose threads substantially. It seems to have lasted well also. I really don’t think the wobbling hurts much as long as the facing on the joint ends is correct.

A little weird? I would say the whole cue is weird. And cool, I have a collection of oddities and your cue would be right at home in my rack.🤓 Either the sticker is wrong or that catalog is. Here are a couple leads...

Might be some confusion with this one. There is a catalog that may have been misprinted? Your cue's sticker clearly shows the MAC3 sticker. http://www.billiardsforum.com/img/u/00008023/1507824389_adam_custom_cues-return-of-the-bandit-cues.pdf
