    It doesn't seem that clear coat adheres as well to SS joints. I've seen a lot of them that has the clear coming off. From a durability aspect alone, I'd rather see no finish on them. Alan Phelps Custom Cues

    longer cue

    I have a 60 inch cue that I'm making now that is 18.6 oz.. Weight and balance can be worked to your specification (within reason) on a custom cue. Only you will know if a longer cue is better for you. My personal shooter these days is a 29 inch butt and 30 inch shaft. Hope that helps a little...

    An off-set tailstock is dependent on knowing the starting and ending diameters. 1.24-.840=.4 .4 divided by 2 gives you you .200 offset.
