Are there any 4-5 layer tips that don't glaze over as bad? I'm no wanting to go the kamui route, but I like that these tips are pretty firm. I've been playing with softer tips until I got this new espiritu cue with an xp shaft with 5th ave tip.

For those of you that have used them for a long time, do they get a lot harder after time like other layered tips?

I actually think that I miscue less with this tip than with a kamui, tiger, or moori because its less layers, and I'm concentrating more on my stroke. Cue ball control is good, but not as good as kamui etc, but I'm always outrunning my shape with those other tips honestly, and can't stand the...

This is in my opinion of course. I've played with both. Both shafts feel extremely solid, and are normally 4oz +-. Even though there is only 1mm difference (and you will definitely be able to tell), the taper of the classic pro gets larger at your bridgehand and fels like you are playing with...
