Tommy Kennedy represents them. He often has some for sale on his facebook page for sale.

    Most overpriced cue?

Almost every import. Some that sell for $60.00 or so may come into the country for like $3.00.

    The Hustlers: Production questions

Thats what I figured. One of the giveaways is on the break. You see the break and then close ups of balls going in. Since no one knows what is going in it is impossible to follow the correct ball and have the perfect visual angle to see it go in so nicely. One rack the cue ball scratches on...

    Southwest cues

They are nice but I had two made for me by Jerry and didn't like them, go figure. I sold both. I also hit with others I didn't care for.

    The Hustlers: Production questions

I'm not there but it looks like unless they have half a dozen cameras there filming at the same time they re-shoot the shots and film them from different angles then edit. I have yet to see a cameraman get caught in the frame.

How To Video Yourself Playing Pool?

There is another school of thought on that. Small mom and pop stores or any small chain stores can be a real pain if you have any problem Try to get a refund from a small store on anything if you have any problem. I pretty much only shop as stores like Walmart, Sears, Best Buy and so on...

    Keith us open

Please let us know. I can understand if he has not been playing and would rather not go there an not play well. But please take it in the spirit it is being offered. We know you can go if you want, it is not a matter of means, you have the means, we want to pay.

    Best action rooms

Once I had a list of all the places where the action was, I now know where not to go. With todays cell phones and emailing pictures you would be knocked after you played in the first place. I would stay on the down low avoiding such places.

What's wrong with my favorite pool hall?

When I was a kid there were pool rooms but mostly bowling alleys had pool rooms. Lots of distractions that you paid no attention to. Announcements over the speakers, bowling balls crashing constantly, and a lot of noise in general coming from everywhere. A juke box would have been a pleasant...

Sad news. Tim Scruggs past away last night.

That is a pretty old cue. Back around 1979 or 1980 we sent some gold inlays to Tim for his cues. He was doing a few collectors cues. He also wanted the horse shoe and the, I think it is called an unk in gold. That cue probably has the inlays we sent him. Here is the brochure from the two...

Feds "Crushing" 1 Ton of Confiscated Ivory in Times Square

Not beyond arms length. So essentially, if you like that look of ivory you can get it from any number of materials and there you go. The only thing ivory may add is in resale value. And again some think it plays better as ferrules and joints. I have played with ivory joint cues for years and...

Feds "Crushing" 1 Ton of Confiscated Ivory in Times Square

Many people either don't know or lie. I have been working on cues for decades and I can't tell you how many claim their cues have ivory in them. Once I have a chance to look at the cue by myself, I can tell if it is or not under a loupe. I never say anything to them one way or another.

Sad news. Tim Scruggs past away last night.

I was just getting ready to go to a place where I may be able to put them on a disk or flash drive. looks like I have about 25. The date on the slides says Apr 81. It is odd, I have been looking for these for the longest time along with a lot of tournaments pictures. A few days ago I found them...

Pool is a game of confidence

Everything in life is a game of confidence. I have never know anyone who was successful that was not confident. Some who from first glance looked like they had little do be confident about.

Feds "Crushing" 1 Ton of Confiscated Ivory in Times Square

My wife goes to the local county shelter and sponsors animals. Not a lot, but the ones that look like they have a chance. She pays all the fees and a sign is put on the cage "Sponsored". The people still have to jump through all the hoops to get the animal but it buys a dog like a month that...

Sad news. Tim Scruggs past away last night.

Wow, I am in shock. I was just thinking about him, I just found a box of slides taken of him and his shop in like 1981. They are sitting here on my desk right now and I was looking on line trying to find how to get them on my computer so I can post them. This is very sad.

Feds "Crushing" 1 Ton of Confiscated Ivory in Times Square

It would perpetuates the market and demand. The immorality of doing that is quite obvious. Who would they sell it to?

Feds "Crushing" 1 Ton of Confiscated Ivory in Times Square

Compared to something like MOP or Abalone or even some woods that if you do inlay with them you can get dust from other adjoining wood messing up the work. You can blend an ivory inlay so easy it is a pleasure to work with. Not to mention the amount required to do inlays has almost no value...

What's wrong with my favorite pool hall?

It is a little shocking what is acceptable today. I was at the pool room the other night for the first time in a while and there was a song playing on the juke box with the words "Suck my balls all night" repeated over and over. I am not a prude, I once had an interest in a strip club, but come...

    ………….

Just as a comment, you are playing faster then you can form good ideas of how to run the balls. You are not actually running balls, you are just getting in and out of trouble till you miss or can no longer escape your mistakes. It is funny watching your reactions to what happens on the table...
