Most overpriced cue?

Whoever is flipping the cue they over paid for five years ago.

New cues, its hard to tell what is over priced new, as cue values really are about the after market. If I buy a cue, and sell it 10 years for now, I'd like that cue not to be worth half what I paid for it. Some cues immediately go up in value, others go down, but sometimes a makers cues become hot for some reason and suddenly go up.

Personally, I stay in the under 1k market, a ton of good cues out there in that price range, and I'm just after good playing cues.

Whatever brand cue-maker I do not buy.........more seriously though, what is the point of this thread aside from trying to stir up a ruckus?

I have a friend who would like to sell his Dale Perry....
...he has NO chance of getting his money back....
....and it's in excellent condition

I don't think he is trying to start a ruckus.
He seems to like these little one-liner threads, I'm sure it's hard for you to relate to
anyone who writes posts that aren't as long & boring as War & Peace.

:eek::rotflmao::killingme:

That's his shortest post yet.

It's really simple. An overpriced cue is one that you can't seem to sell at that price. The most overpriced cue is one that you probably NEVER will sell at that price.

Zam's are just silly. Suckers will take a bath in those sooner or later.

Worse then that is predator limited series. 2 to 3 grand for something you won't get but half of that back for.

Mine was the best money I ever spent. I didn't overpay, used it for 6 1/2 years, and sold it for just over what I paid for it. I wouldn't say it was a great investment. But I played with one of the best cues ever made essentially for free.

I think most production cues are, when they are bought new.

I think some of the best bargins out there are used customs.

I personally think most JW cues are underpriced, but that's just me.

That would depend on who is selling it. There is a few on ebay currently that will be dust collectors, along with some other cues.

JW is certainly not the most overpriced cues. Maybe a new JW shaft was though. heh...

Over priced cue

Hey I would like that title ( money )..

So I have the most over priced cue for sale ... brand doesn't make any difference no matter what cue I have its no problem making it over priced

I think any cue that would sale for 10 million bucks would be considered over priced.
So I will set the price at 20 million and let someone talk me down to 10 million just so they feel good about the hell of a deal they just got. on the Godzilla of monster pool cue

Older playing cues. Modern cues offer consistency and better adhesives along with modern construction methods like coring and LD shafts. You get a lot of cue for the money nowadays.

I never got this "better adhesives" thing. GB's cues hold up really nice with what 50 some years and billions of pool balls hit with them. Coring? Nothing plays like a full splice cue and some old wood.
