    Best bang for the buck?

I would like anyone who is interested to tell me what "production cue" they consider to be the best bang for the buck and why. I'm looking to buy a spare cue. I'm not looking for a cue because of its' looks, just a good quality, name brand, solid hitting cue such as a Joss, Lucasi, Viking...

    Fav WPBA Player....why?

sjm: It's her position play that lends me to believe that she would be capable of very high runs. To me, I think straight pool is all about position and smarts. I watched her at the last us open and she almost broke the worlds' record the first time up, and I don't think she ever played very...

    Fav WPBA Player....why?

Allison Fisher is by far and away the best when she's on. She's in a totally different league from the rest. Fortunately she also seems to have a pleasent personality. I wish she'd play more straight pool. Her position play, and smarts, are so keen that I could see her running in the 400s.

It certainly seems that some type of modern composite material will eventually replace wood as the choice for cues, just as they have for many other previous wood products such as golf clubs...

    Where Would Best Players Rank?

drivermaker: Don't forget Cranfield! I know he dosen't get mentioned often, but that is because he didn't play pool for a living like most of the other pros. He had a steady job all his working life and a family to care for. He considered the income from pool as too unsteady. Remember, he...

    To all pool players

This article is for all pool players, especially those interested in Straight Pool. It is about a variation of the game of 14.1 Continuous Straight Pool created by Arthur "Babe" Cranfield (1997 BCA Hall of Fame). He mentioned this idea to me while I was campaigning for his induction into the...
