    I have been browsing this forum for several days now and I noticed there is tons of talk about custom cues and custom cue makers. What makes a custom cue different from a production cue (Mcdermott, Predator, Fury etc.), do they shoot better? look better? feel better?

    I voted for 8 ball, but I have recently been getting into 9 ball as well. I enjoy the small element of chance in 9 ball, as well as how it forces me to set up shots. Being new I feel that I learn more from playing 9 ball then 8 ball.

    How much does your poolhall Charge per hour!

    The pool hall at my school charges $3.25 an hour, but I play for free because I am in the billiards class :D. The tables are 9ft Gold Crowns and pretty nice. One of the other pool halls in town charges $5 an hour, but that still seems pretty reasonable.
