    wtb cheap sneaky petes

I agree- I got a cue from ken- sneaky pete- and it was sold to me WAY to cheap. I love the oil finish on it, classic look. My club is jealous of it!

John Schmidt/Shane Van Boening Vs. Quintan Hann????

In 9 ball there is 1 pattern you must play to win- the balls in ascending order. In 8 ball- there are many patterns, and if you screw up speed control, you can just shoot another ball(provided you didn't just sink 6 balls and mess up position on the 7th), where in 9 ball, you screw up speed...

John Schmidt/Shane Van Boening Vs. Quintan Hann????

Because 8-ball doesn't require anywhere near the skill 9 ball does. How hard is it to knock 8 balls in in any order? Where 9 Ball, the knowledge of shots and banks that is required for safety play and escapes is massive.

F/s: (2) Sets Ipt Balls New In Box

I bought one of the sets. The only differences I've seen are the rings around the numbers are 2 Half circles, instead of one solid circle, and the cue ball's red dot is a black circle that says IPT in it.

    Your screen--flat or curved?

If your CRT monitor is set right- it shouldn't matter.

    Table Management Test

My god- why didn't I think of that?! Seriously, why are side pockets so nasty!? If I could shoot them, straight pool would be sooooooooo much easier. Alex used to be able to sink them eyes closed. "There's always a side pocket shot." That was his motto. Montel, if you read this- I'm...

Have You Been Ripped off by John Holmes aka parismango - barkcinnamon - wallstreet?

He sounds so damn cheap he probably does use dial up. Lenny McLean was one nasty man. I wonder what your intentions are.

    My new BCM!!

    This cue is absolutely stunning.

    Table Management Test

Being right handed, I'd try to make the 1 my break ball, with the 8 as my key ball. But working out this pattern, I'd probably end up with the 7 since thats how I've been playing lately

Most important component of a cue..?

Tip is the only part that touches the ball, thus only thing that really matters.

    Kamui vs. Sniper

My friend had one put on his cue- from the standard tip that was on his lucasi. Honestly, his stroke is lackluster, his play is sub par, and he can't do anything with other cues that he can with that Kamui medium tip. I'm waiting to put one on myself, but I've never seen a piece of equipment...

    Predator vs. OB-1

Probably over 400, since straight pool players probably don't care about what shaft they are using. :p

Is this for real? Keith McCready Schon from the Color of Money?

Don't know what cue was used but I can say it didn't look like that one! Well actually he uses 2 different cues in the movie, first a PJ looking cue, then something in the Atlantic City tourney that looks like this one.

    huge challenge match

Are you saying for $300 we would see a display of talent face off in multiple game types, get one of your infamous cues, get to mingle with the players, and get semi private instruction? That sounds like a deal to me- I'd be in if its at Hopkin's Super Billiard Expo!

John Schmidt/Shane Van Boening Vs. Quintan Hann????

I think if Sigel or Strickland stepped in here, we'd get some real good quotes for future reference!;) Schmidt is right though, this isn't an aspect based on size and what not, its about billiards skill and thats what you should be betting on. Personally, I'd like to see some straight pool...

    2008 AZ Straight Pool Challenge!

I think some of John's talent wore off when he took a few shots at SBE with my cue; new high Sunday March 23 of 27! I'm getting there!
