Are Bad Deals the Norm for Forums?

These are the only types of people I would do business with-if I had a crystal ball. HONEST people. Too many people value money over integrity. ( and don't give me that shite about if times weren't tough some people wouldn't have done the things the do-good character does not bend it's personal...

Worst thing to happen to pool in recent memory?

Wow-Nailed me! But is it 'us' who are out of touch or is it us who KNOW what we like, why we like it that way and why want/would PREFER it to remain that way? And are the 'other' demographics merely interlopers on what we've loved and identified with for a good chunk of our lives? Ah, I'm...

    Mike Kennedy "acedonkeyace"

I have to agree with the Nutz. I started reading this with one opinion on both parties involved and have finished it with an entirely different one. And btw, Nutz? Thanks for being a decent chap and not mocking me for misidentifying the cue I had mentioned in a post and actually informing me of...

Selling Meucci Jimmy Rempe series 2 JR-3

Is it the norm on this site to offer... goods without a price? Seriously. Why don't people at least put a price? I have a vintage Meucci MO-2 from the 70's I was thinking of offering here. Should it be posted without an asking price?! BTW, HOW MUCH are you trying to get for your...

The weight bolt in a Meucci cue...?

Excellent suggestion. I did do the unthinkable and played it Friday night. REALLY nice hit and feel to it. Very happy with it compared to a Joss I tried not long ago. I just like like 'em lighter I guess. It didn't fall apart but I didn't do anything with it that might have jarred any epoxy...

The weight bolt in a Meucci cue...?

Oy! Little late for ^^^that^^^. I did give it a pretty good twist to break it free. There is a little adhesive residue on the bolt. So I guess there is still some question as no one seems 100% on it. ( see Manwon's post as to age and all ) I've not yet played with it out so I guess...

The weight bolt in a Meucci cue...?

And it's not even an allen or a hex-just a beefy ol' standard with a swipe of red sumpinorother across the top which I guess indicated the bolt weight when assembling [/IMG]

The weight bolt in a Meucci cue...?

Great! I was hoping that it didn't 'hold everything together' and that I wouldn't have people amazed at my '4 piece Meucci' when it came apart whilst playin' some hot chick. Thanks for the confirmation!

The weight bolt in a Meucci cue...?

Does it actually hold anything together or can the cue be played without it? I'm just trying to find out if I can lighten it up an oz and a half and play without it or I need a bolt in it. I appreciate your knowledgeable replies. It's an older rempe 5 with a bolt that weighs about 1.5oz. I see...
