    What's Wrong With Making Money?

Silly questions all around. You feel you deserve pay for your knowledge, then that is cool. You will either get it and be happy or be forced to re-evaluate your position. You want to give it for free, then that is cool, too. You value your position, reputaion, and resulting friendships on...

Found the wrist twist, now how do I get rid of it?

THANK YOU BOTH. I tried this in league tonight (I am 6' 4" and have recent back soreness) and this helped immensly. Also, reiteration of simple, fundamental things like "thumbs down" are great things to remind newer players (like me) of. Great confidence tonight when shooting. Thanks all.

What now....? So... I am now on THREE teams (8ball, 9ball, and double Jeopardy) and I absoluteley-friggin LOVE this cue. I don't care who made it (well, it WOULD be nice to brag) or what it is worth, but I need to know who I should go to to make a matching shaft WITHOUT the metal joint. I am...

Or.... I like this enough that I was also wondering if it is even POSSIBLE to have a new NON-METAL joint shaft made to match this cue and how much this might run. I saw online that replacement shaft are often made, so I was wondering what this typically runs and who you might recommend to do it.

Going on EBAY... This is a little embarassing, but after kind Mr. Sutton's remarks, I looked up metal on metal joints on this site and was kind of sad that I had not researched this before. I pulled out my modern Dufferin and played with it tonight, and though I HATE the large/wide tip, the...

    Pawn Shop Cues

Goodwill find... This is a really amazing thread. I have a cue posted in the gallery ( http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=156856 ) that I picked up awhile ago at a local Goodwill for $4.99. Don't know what it is, but it is straight (enough) and is my most comfortable cue to play...

another pic... Thanks for your input Mr. Sutton... I think you may have answered the questions for me. There is, in fact, NO weight bolt and the end cap is plactic and everything appears to be individual rings around plain wood. Here are a few pics...

Cue Identification So now I have found a kind team to accept me... we shoot on Thursdays... but now, with hours of practice, I find that a few on the rings on the aforementioned cue are loose. I would REALLY like to know what this cue is and if is ok to simply glue the rings solid. I LOVE the...

    Newbie Introduction W/4 point cue

As you can tell.. the cue is a little old and the bottom screw does not seem to be original as it just doesn't quite fit tightly into the butt. Not knowing exactly what the cue is, thought, I have been wary of doing anything to it but shooting with it. Bumper still serves its purpose.

Hello all! Just moved to the West Coast from the East and in my search for a new APA team to join (unsucessful as of yet- any Seattle-ites looking for a strong 3? Been shooting for only a year) and stumbled upon this site. So hey- currently working on Byrne's shot book. And this is my...
