    Looking for cue sellers

Hello, I'm looking to buy a Black Boar, but since Tony isn't making any for the next decade or so, I'm going to go the used route. I know some of you work at or know of cue ... stores? (like cuesnthings, etc) Could some of you give or PM the url's of some of these stores so I can see what's...

An Article On This Site Many Don't Agree With

I'm no expert player myself, but I'll normally pay attention to the table when my opponent is shooting unless they are a very slow player. If they are a very slow player, then I won't even look until I notice he's about to hit the cueball (to watch for fouls and such). Not saying I'll go...

    No Heart?

But you won the one set you played? I don't understand this part of your post. Either way, if you were going to play just one set, I'd normally tell the guy, especially if it's particularly sweet action like this sounds. And who cares if him and his buddies think they're better? That can...

    Wraps and Joints

Thanks for the input. I really like the look of the Stack leather wrap, but I was worried about it unraveling, like the Irish Linen wraps do. But if they last just as long as the regular leather wrap, then that's fine. Also, I was just checking out that webpage and saw the "Laminated Cue...

    Wraps and Joints

I'm going to order a new cue soon, and I just had a couple of quick questions. I was just wondering is there any advantage of a uni-lock over the regular steel joint, besides the time it takes to put the cue together? Also, I know I want a leather wrap, because of the look/feel... Is the one...

    one-pocket spot

Actually 8-8 is the normal game, and though that adds up to 16, one person will get to 8 before the other, so anytime you play 10-6, 9-7, etc, you play it as normal. When we play (which is rare for me) and the spot is 10-7 or so, then the person who goes to 10 spots up the first ball he makes...

    one-pocket spot

Do you mean you would treat it as a new game or would you break from where the cue ball lies?

One Pocket Tournament in Rockville, MD

Yah, but in the report it says that Rob beat Slivka, which is wrong, it was Ed that beat Slivka (and then Ed beat Rob in the finals). Too many rides around the lake, Teddy. :p

One Pocket Tournament in Rockville, MD

actually, after beating Grady, Slivka beat Fusco (who beat Parks 3-2 in the round before), then he and TomTom split. Also, on the Second day, Ed Abrahms beat Slivka, not Spanish Rob.
