    Couple spin transfer videos

True... I was talking to a friend about a type of spin transfer shot but thought of these which are easier to perform. I will post another if I can of another particular shot that I saw Corey Deuel perform HERE at 8:14 which is a better example. I might need a table with more springy rails...

    Couple spin transfer videos

I posted a couple videos on my f@cebo0k page that I thought you all might want to check out. Nothing too fancy, but was explaining a concept to my friend Alex. Most decent players know the first one. Both of these shots I first found out by pure accident while playing and just experimenting...

Noob question but I can't make a ball frozen to rail with inside bottom, why?

He said cutting to the RIGHT...your pictures illustrate cutting a ball to the LEFT...that might explain your confusion

Noob question but I can't make a ball frozen to rail with inside bottom, why?

If you have a chance to read the book The Science of Pocket Billiards, in it the author goes over the easiest way to pocket a ball that is on the rail. The hardest it seems is to hit the OB with OUTSIDE English. He even has graphs and lots of data to back up his claims. As stated previously...

    13mm tip?

13mm is way too fat for me too. I am on the same boat. I like about 11.5mm conical as well. Poll perhaps?

    shaft modification

No need to drill any holes. I usually just shorten my ferrule to about 1/2" or less (I like about 1/4 to 3/8") This effectively decreases tip end mass and therefore cue ball deflection.

    Physics Question about Throw

This my friend is a very, very good question I have tested this theory on numerous occasions, and I have found that 1) YES, throw can definitely reduce CB drift down the tangent line after impact. However, 2)the BIGGEST FACTOR in determining this tangential drift is SPEED at contact, and the...

    poolplayer jesse bowman

Is this a joke? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that 98.2% of the people on here know that Jesse Bowman is a monster player and is a threat to win any bar table tournament he enters. That being said, I don't know if you'll ever see him on tour. I don't know him personally, but he might...

    best shaft

Love my OB-2 I have played with most every LD shaft on the market. I actually voided my warranty recently by taking off the carbon fiber disk and shortening the ferrule even more. I have almost no discernible deflection whatsoever. Tip end mass is nil.

LOL look at what picture just popped up on my Facebook

Who the hell is this guy!!!

Jesse Allred is a good friend of mine and he posts here quite often. The video linked is at our local pub on a Sunday night a few years back taken by Fred Matzke. Yes, he probably IS the best one-handed player in the world. He almost beat me one day playing one hole even jacked up one...

Looking for a cue under 100$

Go to a few pawn shops. They might have a really nice old cue that could be fixed up to play killer for around $100 total.

OB vs. Predator shafts. Which do you prefer and why??

I prefer the ob2 to to all the others as well. In fact, I just cut down the ferrule of the ob2 about in half, removing the carbon disk. Also, with some sanding, it's probably around 11.50 mm now, and a nice Kamui tip and is downright THE BEST combination I have ever used.

    Got Cheated In Olathe

Team Oklahoma? Sounds like you are bunching a group of people together for no reason. Evelyn is from KS correct? Anyways, sorry if you felt like you got cheated. I have known Joey for a long time, and he, like most other Okies, is a respectable honest person. I doubt he would just try to...

Is it possible to throw an object ball? Nope

Are we still debating whether Collision-Induced-Throw is real or not? Wow, I cannot believe the people that take simple physics principles and try to "throw" them out. This is very, very simple. Objects (all objects no matter how clean or oily, or greasy, or slick) have a friction force when...
