Mid cue extensions? Yes or no?

If your cue has a 3/8x16 or 1/2x13 weight bolt and bumper screw, they make a bumper kit that would work on your cue.

Mid cue extensions? Yes or no?

Mid-no Rear-yes A mid extension totally changes the way a cue plays imo

    What type of tenon?

Most hard layered tips won’t deform and chip though. That material holds chalk well and has good speed but I’m not a fan.

    What type of tenon?

I’ve installed a couple of those Bulletproof one piece ferrule/tip combos and ended up facing one of them off and putting an Odega on it. The guy miscued and the side of the tip deformed and fractured. I’ve also made my own out of a rod of polycarbonate and can’t see any difference. I’m not a...

    Stacked leather wrap installs

I just finished a couple of stacked leather wraps. I think they turned out pretty nice and thought I’d share. They are both black/white impression wraps from Tiger Products.

    Phenolic Break Tip Question?

I always shape break and jump tips flatter than a nickel. I think it makes them a little more forgiving. If I don’t have a lathe, I use the Last 4 Ever tip tool to shape tips. I’m not a big fan of phenolic tips on break cues but I have some phenolic material that performs pretty well and will...

    Sealing Wooden Shaft

Sounds like he didn’t dampen the shaft to raise the grain and then sand, burnish, and then wax.

    Looking to find new cloth

It depends on what color you’re looking for? If you want tournament blue, you can forget it. If you’re ok with blue green, you won’t have a problem finding it.

    Justin Bergman

He played in a tournament in Springfield Mo this weekend. He is still the MONSTER he was. It was a rated 9 ball tournament, alternate break, and he had to go to 11 and the lower caps had to go to 5, 7 or 9 depending on your Fargo. He got 1st in the tournament, obviously.

    Full cap ferrules

I think a lot of things can come into play here. A capped ferrule can be low deflection. It just depends on what you do under it.

    Shaw 714 DVD

It is in Springfield, Mo and I hope we can talk Danny into giving it a go. I doubt he bites on that though. He seems to be playing mostly billiards these days.

    Shaw 714 DVD

I know the guy that set it up and I really doubt they changed anything on it but I’ll ask him.

    Shaw 714 DVD

I talked to the guy that owns the table the other day. I'm going to try to go play him some at his place and I'll measure the pockets. I'd like to buy the DVD, if there are still some available?
