    Ronnie O'Sullivan 1K Centuries - Contest!!!

Aww man that's a shame. Where would you have put Ronnie in terms of having a chance in the pool industry? I've only ever seen him play snooker in person but from what I've seen his pool arsenal looks to be lacking somewhat as snooker is a very simple game in terms of shot making.

    Ronnie O'Sullivan 1K Centuries - Contest!!!

He's been turning down centuries lately and I can only assume it's because he wants 1000 to be at the main event. I was watching an episode of Ronnies American hustle the other day and saw you made an appearance on it! How was the experience on your part?

A shooting tip for those who've given up all hope of shooting straight.

This forum has gone drastically down hill over the past years. Bad advice seems to be the norm now.

Have I been sleeping? This new wave of straight shooters...

Probably the same reason Michael Jordan didn't dominate the netball scene.

Cracks a hell of a drug.

    Stroke flaw

Its next to impossible without seeing you shoot. All we can do is make wild suggestions and we could be here all day. Generally from people I've worked with, the further the shot the more 'umph' they try to give the cue ball, especially on draw which is why long draw shots. The reasons vary...

    Pool Table Room Build

I like 4th from top. With a nice big corner sofa and no obstructions of the tv. Kind of works best for both tv and pool.

    How to Aim Faster?

The vast majority of people I've ever worked with on a snooker table that have struggled to go from average to the next level have had issues limiting them that could be traced back to vision centre issues. You even see professionals such as Stuart Bingham turn from a no body into a world...

    How to Aim Faster?

The testing showed me that having my chin over the cue was correct for me, so I made the conscious decision to do it like that. I've played that way ever since.

    How to Aim Faster?

I don't know how Dr Dave is describing it. I've been out of the pool game for years now. I've described my definition. I'm not talking about anyone else's definition here. I have my chin over the cue because that allows me to sight centre cue ball accurately and it makes potting angles look...

Anything to bring more excitement to snooker is fine by me!

    How to Aim Faster?

Sounds like you're confusing eye dominance with the term vision centre. Vision centre to me is how you sight something to allow for the intended cue and body alignment as well as being able to tell where centre cue ball is whilst down. I am extremely left eye dominant, but I sight a shot and...

    How to Aim Faster?

I would hazard a guess that it is to do with your vision centre not being utilised to it's full potential when eyeing up a shot. Then as you get down you bring your vision centre onto the line of aim and above your cue. That's why shots may not look correct when down. It could be the same, but...

    Struggles with english

Visualise the speed and tip placement you want to hit the cue ball. Then visualise the path you need the cue ball to take. Shoot the shot. Don't deviate away from the initial visualisation of speed and tip placement. Most people struggle with English using this method purely by changing the...

How would you shoot this shot.

Usually into the pocket, but it's been a while so perhaps not!

Why do Teachers insist on the Pendulum?

The simple answer is that it's generally easier for students to get their head around as they have to concentrate on fewer moving parts.
