What is the typical cost for table installation and setup?

Also depends if they have to recover it......that would add another $300 ish.

    This happened tonight.

First off, you have two different things when you do side pots. There is the tournament money which all players are going after. In this case it only pays the top 2. Then you have the side pot money which is only getting paid to those who pay into it.... So player A gets 1st place = Tournament...

    Chohan V Orcollo October 5 –8

You realize they were playing one pocket right? If you want to watch a fast game, watch 9ball. Besides that, there was a ton of cash on the line and Dennis wasn't going to shoot until he knew it was the right shot. If you ever play for that kind of cash, I'll expect you to just wing it and shoot...

    Object Ball Contact Point Adjustment

I would think, because of friction between the cue ball and object ball it would be the opposite. Aim to the far side or over-cut......but whatever works I suppose.

^^^^^^^^^^That pretty much covers it^^^^^^^^^^^ A safety on an open table means the table will still be open. Incoming player can shoot stripes or solids, gets his pick.

How Do You Play This Shot?

I would play it low with maybe a 1/4 tip of left.

    $40,000 Match - Can Salim vs Vilmos Foldes - October 7th & 8th

I would give the edge to Vilmos, probably by 4/5 games. But who knows, sometimes the balls roll funny from the break. They both play really well, should be a great match to watch.

    Tim Scruggs sneaky pete

Yepper, I bought one back in 89' for $110. The original shaft warped after about 15 years and I sold the butt for $250. Solid hitting cues :)

    Beautiful Rare B-4 McDermott

My older brother just acquired a cue from a friend and asked me to find out a little bit about it. All I knew was that it's a McDermott to start with. He sent me a few pics and I started tracking it down between a D-3 and a B-4. The McDermott site shows a blonde version of the B-4 and it threw...

    20x20 room

You should have room for a couch in there. You may have to move the table closer to the opposite wall but that's a good size room.

Tony Vs Dennis Chit Chat Thread

Lou, I usually agree with your posts but think you are a bit off base here. Do you feel the commentators should play/think the game better than the best pool players on the planet? If so, they would be playing, not commenting.... Commentators are simply there to give a little insight, not know...
