I snap off a section of the olfa after 2 tips usually Not much worse that trying to trim a Taom or a hard kamui with a less than new blade!

I prefer the black olfa blades for trimming, the snap off type I like the utility type blade for shaping myself

Are you trying to run it straight through? I run it in a bit, back it out, run in some more, back it out Probably 4 times backing it out and continue ing till the end

I think these are softer than phenolic although they feel as if it hits harder......
