Milkdud tips versus „just dry pressed without soaking in anything“

I have preferred just dry pressing hand selected Elks or blue diamonds, try some out I doubt you will notice a difference, if anything they won't need a scuff as often.

Are any carbon fiber shafts low deflection?

Perfectly explained Jaden, thank you, you made it easy for me to no have to type it out or find a link hah.

Are any carbon fiber shafts low deflection?

Jacoby black and prime are close to wood LD from what I have heard, but by no means are carbon shaft anywhere close to being on a grid of making a comment or asking the question " Are there any low deflection carbon shafts out there" Lowest deflections I have played with are Revo's, Cynergy...

If I am playing with an extension for purposes of added weight wouldn't make sense just to get a heavier cue?

I think this has more to do with you liking the balance point being moved back further for you like other have said. Wonder how you would do with a lighter shaft on the same cue, but if the extension isn't bothering you or getting in the way while you play maybe just stick to what already feels...

    Tiger IB+ Material?

Never mind, just installed some Micarta with a SIB Pro, plays pretty sporty, looks more normal than the orange anyway... Probably " lower deflection" as well.

    Tiger IB+ Material?

I totally agree, If they are willing to sell a tip size they should sell uncut inch sizes imho.

    Tiger IB+ Material?

The fortis carbon shaft uses the same material as the ice breaker tip for the ferrule.... I said nothing about repairing tips and not replacing them, this thread is a question about the material used.

    Tiger IB+ Material?

As the topic says what is or in your opinion the closest material to Tiger products ice breaker plus material ( the new orange stuff ) I own a fortis pro and the ferrule is getting a bit low compared to original hight. I called them and the won't sell a rod type length to the public. So any...

What tip you do you play with?

Try out Ultra skin tips, I can recomend the Pro in the black series, medium or soft in the ivory series, and prolly soft in the fire series. I love Elkmasters, but you have to find the good ones and thats a pain but when you get one its a dream to hit with, they will stand up against any "...

Why different shaft diameters for different games?

Couldn't of said it better! Also taper Plays a huge part in this, and now with carbon you can use a smaller diameter tip/ thinner shaft without it getting to light weight or to whippy. Play with anything long enough and you can adjust and adapt. A lot of my carbon modifications to Cynergy...

    JacobyBlack V4.

The 11.8 Jacoby had more deflection but still is in that range of being very low. The Jacoby just has more to offer for those that want more feel, and vibration feedback. Its a bit easier to control the cue ball as its not ass stiff and powerful as the revo. And is much much quieter than the...

    JacobyBlack V4.

Thats why I said also how the cue ball reacts. But anyway no need to get off topic, this was a review thread, not another ranting on deflection thread. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but for some LD is a significant thing the can see happen and choose to go with more modern tech shafts.

    JacobyBlack V4.

Some of us are more sensitive to the feel and feedback, also how the cue ball reacts than others. Some can just grab any cue and not over think it. But I'm sorry your statement is very blunt and IMHO extremely wrong, to each their own.

    FORTIS Owners?

That sounds like It would be hella fun! Both bacote and zibra wood have great tone to them should make for a great player. I was also thinking of potentially going the traveler series direction possibly.
