Hi everyone and thank you in advance for a pool stick. I would like to ask your opinion on getting work done to a cue. I recently purchased a brand new with sticker on it huebler from the 70"s. I plan on sending it to a cue maker to get the shaft tapered down and retipped. I know you can't...

    whisler cue

I purchased a whisler from someone on here and it is a beautiful cue. I only hit it twice because I have to contact him to get the shaft retapered. It's 13.5 at the tip and it is simply too big for me so I can not really comment on how great it really plays but the quality is outstanding.

    conversion cue

I am in northeast Pa. Proficient billiards is about an hour and a half away. It would be a linnen wrap. I just wanted to make sure that taking the cue down to put a wrap on it would not affect the play quality of the cue. I am not worried too much about the value. I just think old cues are...

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for your advice and opinions. I was looking at a Joel Weinstock custom from Cuemaster and he told me that it is a heavy cue, but a "monster Cue". First of all, what does that mean? He then stated that with a lighter cue, you can finesse and pocket a...
