    Table Too Tough?

Snooker tables are super tough. I bet if you played on a snooker table for a hour and then try your table at home it would see a lot easier.

    Preferred Shaft Size (Regular Maple)

I prefer 10.5mm but could do with anything under 11.5mm but no less than 8mm.

How good are you with your opposite hand?

I am pretty alright with my off hand. I am sure my form looks horrible but I can still pot balls and get decent position when I need to play a shot with my other had. I always try to use my other hand when I can instead of a bridge or trying to go behind the back.

    Playing art!

My first question to ask would be, have you had a chance to shoot with any of their cues yet?

Should pro players play on 7ft table tourneys?

I think that pros should not be allow to play on barboxes in competitive events. And personally I hate watching those matches. They are always pretty boring. They should only play on 9 footers or bigger IN COMPETITIVE EVENTS.

    Not likely to happen but,,,,,,

I have seen matches where if both players can only play certain safes back and forth they both agree to have the game start over.

    Tip Profile: Show Your Shizz

I would say that what I have seen so far seems pretty normal shape wise. I normally keep mine to a dime radius or so. I have seen people that shape theirs so radically that I am not even sure how they get good contact on the cue ball because their tip is so rounded.

Michaela Tabb - no more refereeing ???

I have always been a fan of Michaela. She's got it all. She's got a very sexy voice, good looks, knows how to control the crowds and is a top notch professional. But if she does decide she is not going to be a referee anymore I can only support her decision after everything she has done for the...

    Magic Chalk

So after trying out a ton of different chalk, I have to update my review. Magic Chalk is the best chalk I have used to date. Every other chalk I tried just didn't compare. Some chalk was to hard, some got everywhere when you chalked up, and some didn't stay on the tip very well. I am receiving...

    Ash Shafts vs Maple?

I completely agree. If you are looking for a nice snooker cue and have about 400 dollars. Check out the snooker forum. They have a couple of really nice 1pc maple snooker cues for sale currently. I would totally pick up one if I have the money to spend on a cue at the moment. Check out the one...

    Ash Shafts vs Maple?

I own a ash cue and a maple cue and I have to say I can't tell the difference between them. One sounds different when you hit than the other but that's mainly because I have a harder tip on my ash cue than my maple cue. The main reason why snooker cues use ash wood is because of the availability...

    Whats a good cue?

Tony Glover is a top notch cue maker. I am looking into buying one of his cues right now.

    2015 Welsh Open - February 16 - 22

I still can't believe Ronnie lost that match. He looked real good the first 2 frames then it looked like he almost gave up.

    Magic Chalk

It definitely has out performed any other chalk I have used and that is why I am using it exclusively for the time being. It does stay on the tip forever and doesn't make to much of a mess when applying it. Thank you again for the free piece of chalk. I will definitely order more when needed.

I do believe Earl uses a 13mm shaft.

    Magic Chalk

I received one of your free pieces of Magic Chalk and to be honest at first I was not too impressed. The chalk was just so hard I could hardly get it to stick to the tip of my cue. After sticking with it for a few days it started to ware in a little and now it is all I use. I still have a piece...

Kamui Black Clear Vs. Regular Kamui black..

I have always loved the kamui tips and have only played with them and can't tell any difference between the regular and the clear tips. I just like the clear ones because of the looks. There is a big difference between the brown and the black tips tho. But if your looking to try something...

    snooker ferrules

do you know how I could get my hands on a blackspin ferrule to try out. I want to put one on my cue but haven't found them sold separately. I would love to get a MW cue but I just can't justify spending that kind money on a cue at the moment.

    snooker ferrules

I believe the reason why they re-tip the cues themselves is because you can not use a lathe on a snooker cue really, they also kinda obsess over their tips and the shape. I had my snooker tip redone and he used a lathe and f***ed my cue up. It has all kinds of dents near the bottom and had some...
