Yes, the shafts look great, but there is some really nice grain in the purpleheart as well. You can see a bit of it in the 3rd picture.

Did they cover the room or flight? Maybe that's where they're getting the number from. What kind of cue was it? They may be putting a retail value on it for tax purposes.
