I am near Tampa and have been wanting to check out Diamond. It's disappointing they've gone back to smoking but I can't fault their decision. A few rooms up here have gone to non smoking when reopening after the shutdown. We'll see if their business holds up.

I'll admit I don't know much about the guy, but have been surprised how professionally he could commentate on one hand, and then hear the stories from the DCC as posted in this thread, in addition to some of the excerpts from the Playing Off the Rail book.

I have several rooms within a half hour of me. If they all were to close, I would probably support bars, but not as much as I did the pool halls, simply to play. Bar tables don't interest me like 9 footers and the bar environment is not my taste for playing the game seriously. It's a scary...
