    Sex Drugs Cues Money Gambling

All very good reading. Haven't been able to watch the video yet, but thanks for posting.

I understand we need a little fighting now and then just like any good action movie needs explosions. Take the gunplay out of Die Hard and you're left with Bruce Willis attending a Christmas party and ... having a good time. I agree that's boring but, c'mon this thread is verging on Speed 2...

No, that's what you do in the High School Locker Room after a big date with Jenny Ventura that landed you both grounded. What you do on a Billiards Message Board is present yourself and your arguments in a manner that promotes learning and cultivates the future of the sport.

Nobody? I ordered a break cue from him a bit ago, don't regret it for a minute. Find something valid to say somewhere instead of sitting here and pontificating on events that you have no knowledge of.

Jesus Christ, you're all like dogs after someone dropped the Christmas ham. Take a second to step back, stop calling each other idiots, and realize that you're at each other's throats over a thread originally intended as a compliment. There are hundreds of threads here where a poster asks a...

    $5,000. predator cue

Right, but his insinuation was that the custom cue wouldn't be good enough for the shaft, not vice versa.

    $5,000. predator cue

Unfortunately, I know a couple of dorks who would buy this garbage. A local guy, friend of mine, in my APA league came to me and told me he's looking at buying a Predator limited edition for around $2,000. I told him he could get a hell of a custom for that price, something built to his...

    Who makes the best shafts...

I've heard incredibly good things about Dieckman as well.

    Power breaking aiming

Chances are he knows that when he lifts his body upwards on the final stroke that the cue is going to lift with it approximately that much and aiming lower is a way of compensating for that. No clue, really, though.

Thank you, I think I'll do that. Come to think of it, a Titlist would be just about everything I'm looking for in a cue.

I agree with this 100%. Well said.

    sharking

I don't let it bother me. If your opponent sees you aren't rattled by anything he'll stop sharking you and start worrying about the game.

    My X-Shaft warped, no warranty!

Also, as a side note, I've nothing against Tiger; I've never had the opportunity to use their products, nor would this thread or any other deter me from doing so if I found one that I was interested in. I just interpret this situation as something of a bureaucratic **** up where the initial...

    My X-Shaft warped, no warranty!

Even though their policy was admittedly vague and, in fact, amended to prevent further instances?

    My X-Shaft warped, no warranty!

So does this mean you're replacing the shaft? I understand that warpage generally isn't a manufacturing defect, but to warp after only four hours of play indicates that either the cue was warped when he purchased it or that it wasn't structurally sound enough to withstand being used.

When your break power is Max'd OUT

One thing that I've found has increased my breaking power is to practice by starting out very very slow and slowly increasing the speed and power from there. That way it doesn't seem like you're really hitting it a whole lot harder with each break but by the end of the day you've accumulated...
