I have the same model lathe,but without the taper attachment,It is a good lathe and I wish I had the room for it,I put a direct pulley drive with VFD to control the rpm on the one I have. If you live in the area it would be a good buy,it's about 5 hours one way for me to drive.I do not own this...

your cues look great keep up the good work,looks like you could use some ring cutting dies;)

with enough tonage you might be able to cut thin aluminum and silver,but the dies would not last very long.It takes a different designed dies to cut metal.
