A number of the younger recreational players in here will gamble with each other, knowing their opponent is likely no better than them, and who even knows if they pay off when they’re finished. However, they are certainly not likely to gamble in here with players they don’t know.

Agreed, pocket facing angles. Any PFA’s greater than 140°-141° get progressively more likely to rattle, especially when combined with generous pocket mouths. Also on any table, as the cloth gets more worn, balls are always more likely to rattle.

The pocket facings appear to have a convex curvature to them, similar to snooker pockets. Add to that the huge pocket mouths and the deep pocket shelves result in a pocket that would play extremely tough, particularly for shots along the rails.
