Throwing opponent's chalk on the floor

You're trolling right? He slid both chalks over and the non-square piece rolled off the table without him noticing. Mitch hasn't ever been known for pulling moves like that. You're way off base here.

    Other carbon fiber shafts?

I'm sure everyone is thinking about it. They'd be stupid to not address their competition. The better question is who can put up a legitimate contender. You better believe they're all going to try.

    Bar table championship done for?

They only have brackets up for nine ball and ten ball. I was under the impression they made the 8 ball a separate event. My mistake.

    Bar table championship done for?

They messed up moving out of Reno. They messed up again taking the 8 ball out. What used to be an event that drew a lot of amateurs is no longer. The added expense of Vegas on top of the top amateur game being pulled from the format has killed it in the eyes of amateur players. Now it's just...

Another Mark Gregory Brunswick Anniversary (with a twist)

RIP awesome table and home room. Floppage ended up selling this house and putting the table in storage so he could relocate to Utah for work. It's quite a shame. I miss that table, but I miss my friend more.

Should pros be allowed to rob amateur events?

He was spoken to by the room owner before he left. I'm sure there will be a rule change in future events of some sort. I don't mind playing pros, but the lack of respect was ridiculous.

Should pros be allowed to rob amateur events?

We had the Tournament of Champions over at Stiix Billiards in Ventura this past weekend. This is a biannual event that the room owner Jerry "Baby Huey" Matchin throws to give back to the local pool community. It's a handicapped event with a $25 entry that includes a free BBQ, door prizes...

    Sharking or not Sharking?

That middle notch is pretty low. It's awesome for draw shots, and I've hopped the cue ball using it stretched out before.

    Sharking or not Sharking?

Why would he need to freeze a player that just miscued? Generally you slow down the pace or put the freeze on someone who is on fire and free stroking, not miscuing.

Who is the Best Young Gun? Shaw,Thorpe,Joshua Filler?

Then Bergman is older than him. He turned 29 last month. Don't know how either of these guys are called "young guns", but I hear this term in reference to Bergman all the time. He's not a big guy, but he's not young either.

What glue to use for a pin?

Exactly. Don't put epoxy all over the pin and thread it in. You'll trap the air in there if you do it that way. Drop the epoxy into the butt, thread the pin in all the way, back the pin back out to distribute the epoxy, and thread the pin back in until seated. That's what I did when the pin on...
