Thanks bill I thought so just wanted to double check. I'm finally going to play my first straight pool match on the 23rd and want to make sure I have every thing nailed down by then so I don't look like a doofus

I watched some of the straight pool matches from the dcc. Does the game alway start with safety after safety until one guy can get something going? And I'm guessing legal break two balls have to hit a rail...and safety's are the same as in 9 balls, strike the ball then ob or cb must touch a rail?

I'm assuming its a custom that's why it's priced higher.

Break shots I've been watching Bill's videos (Marop) he just put one up of an 81 ball run and I noticed as with the rest of his videos he sets himself up nicely for the break which greatly helps him out.

If I don't get one up soon ill def make sure to get some video on the 23rd dmgwalsh is supposed to be at red shoes for the az get together and were gonna shoot some 14.1 it'll be nice to actually try and play someone and get some pointers in person from an experienced player like you gentlemen

Yeah i think thats what bill said that if an established guy that is reputable puts up a good number he should be taken at his word. its just for guys like me that couldnt run a rack with 6" pockets coming in and saying i ran off 104. it takes away frim everyones hard work and accomplishments.

i like the idea...although im new here, cant run ten balls yet so video of my run of 9 would just embarrass me. but i do agree. i always watch bills videos when he posts them and notice that he sets himself up for a great break most of the time. so its nice to be able to see videos of the good...
